"Just to mention my setup: I have a PS5, Switch and now the Steam Deck. No Windows PCs at all. I use the PS5 generally for the larger name games (and games I definitely want to play on my living room tv) and the Steam Deck for indie games and games that just don't come out on the PS5. The Switch is essentially a Nintendo machine lol.
But to more directly answer your question: *I love the Steam Deck*. There are so many Indies I've missed over the years and smaller games that never make the leap to other systems outside of Steam and the Deck has made it to where I can finally enjoy them! Not to mention, I even got Zenless Zone Zero to work on the Deck and boot up from the Steam player!
I would say the one use case I would definitely advise against is if you want to use the Deck for AAA games on the go. It doesn't have enough oomph to have the graphics set above the minimums for everything and even then might feel like it's about to overheat."
