"Currently facing a problem in a React Native iOS app whereby, if the app goes into the background, our chain of async jobs just kinda halts. We're not sure yet which callback is failing to be executed: microtasks (Promises), macrotasks (setTimeout), or the native scheduler (NSTimer). Any ideas?"
